Enable Infrastructure support Ukraine Appeal
6 July 2022
The Enable Infrastructure (formerly known as BCM Construction) Feltham Phase 5 project team recently aided the efforts of the Absolutely Offices Ukraine Appeal in Basingstoke – where the delivery team are based. The Absolutely Offices team needed manpower and vehicle transport to transfer supply packages from their processing facilities at Grove House to the distribution warehouse where the packages were loaded onto lorries heading to Ukraine. Through Enable Hire, our fleet arm, the BCM team have helped get thousands of boxes of much-needed items on their way across Europe and stands ready to assist in the future.
Beryl Huntington, Managing Director at Absolutely Offices said: “Absolutely are indebted to many companies for their support and especially the staff at Enable Infrastructure for responding immediately to help with transport. Without them, we could not have met the timescale to load the articulated lorry, which had to arrive in Poland three days later. We are so grateful to Cameron and the team at Enable Infrastructure for their key contribution and are really pleased we can be sure of any future support that may be needed.”
The Absolutely Offices Ukraine Appeal started life as a small endeavour but quickly snowballed into a comprehensive, widescale logistical enterprise and deservedly won A Place to Be Proud Of 2022 Business and Community Support award in recognition of their outstanding operation.
If you would like to submit a donation or contribute towards this effort, there will be a car boot sale on Sunday 17th July in Jameson House in Chineham for all the items old & new that cannot be sent to Ukraine, the proceeds will go to funding the next transport which is circa £2,000.
