Enable Infrastructure achieve Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) training accreditation
19 May 2022
Enable Infrastructure (formerly known as BCM Construction) are pleased to have been approved by the Institution of Civil Engineers to operate a formal ICE Training Scheme. Under the mentorship of Jon Tree, Contractor’s Engineering Manager and Andrew Wedlake, Regional Manager – Wales & Western, Enable Infrastructure trainees will now have the opportunity to achieve a Chartered (CEng), Incorporated (IEng) or Engineering Technician (EngTech) professional qualification. We wish our first cohort of trainees the best success in the future!

‘Accreditation to operate an ICE Training Scheme is a real asset for Enable Infrastructure and our staff. Being an SME working on interesting, multidisciplined projects, Enable Infrastructure are able to vary our trainees’ job roles to provide experience in all the required attributes (H&S, commercial, management/leadership etc). Given the enthusiasm for this scheme from both trainees and the board, we believe we may see results as early as 2023 and are excited to get started.’
